(D) A license as an insurance producer is not required of the following: In this section, the term "insurer" does not include an insurer's officers, directors, employees, subsidiaries, or affiliates. (C) Nothing in this chapter may be construed to require an insurer to obtain an insurance producer license. (B) No person may act as a producer for an insurer or for a fraternal benefit association unless a producer's license has been issued to him by the director or his designee.
